Job Description:
Lord Fairfax Community College, located in the Northern Shenandoah Valley is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty (day, evening and weekend) positions on a continuous basis. Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed. Responsibilities include teaching college level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends. Applicants should possess a Master's degree, have eighteen graduate semester hours in the discipline/prefix specific to the class, and a history of successful teaching or related experience. Certain developmental or technical courses may be taught by instructors with a Bachelor's degree, a special certification, and/or work experience. The ability to use instructional technology is a plus. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until needed positions are filled.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications - Credit Courses - Require a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the specific teaching discipline.
