Job Description:
Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) seeks an enthusiastic and dependable individual to serve as Students Activities Coordinator - this position is a Temporary position which will end during this fiscal year. This position will plan and implement student activities using student development theory, adult education theory and student services applications. Other duties are budget management, supervision of the student activities specialist and a work study student, serve as advisor for the Student Goverment Associaton on the Middletown campus, work closely with Student Life Coordinator to enhance and manage LFCC Athletics, also develop and implement leadership enhancing guidelines and programs for student clubs and organizations. This position will work 30 hours per week. The hourly rate for this position is $12.00-$14.00 and is based upon education and experience. This position will close at midnight on November 12, 2009. Requirements:
This position requires the ability to work nights and weekends as necessary. Experience with Microsoft Office programs. Excellent customer service skills. Past supervisory experience helpful. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
